Frequently asked questions and answers (FAQ)

General

The German word “Erfolgsucher” translates into “Success Seeker”. We appeal to people and organisations that actively seek success and have a “why not?” mentality. We want to bring adventure and the courage to take (controlled) risks back into the office with the Success Trail.

The opposite of a Success Seeker is a Failure Seeker with a strong “yes, but” mentality.

“Success Seeker” can of course also be written with 2 “s”. The following rule applies to us: if several spellings are correct, we always opt for the shorter and simpler variant.

Success Seeker is generally suitable for companies (small, medium, large) and organizations (associations, chambers of commerce, municipalities, etc.) of all kinds. Based on the philosophy, customers should cultivate a “modern image of man” and strive to act entrepreneurially. The offer is probably best suited to progressive SMEs or medium-sized companies.

We want a language that is simple and understandable, does not exclude anyone and is personal. Therefore:

  • we avoid anglicisms and technical terms as much as possible
  • Let’s limit ourselves to a simple vocabulary
  • we refrain from using genders
  • we use the you-form

For us, it goes without saying that we always address Success Seekers, Partners, Tour Guides, Implementers, etc. as well.

We are convinced that simple language is the best way to involve everyone. Among other things, we want to explicitly address people who are not academics, for whom German is not their mother tongue and who do not (want to) know the usual buzzwords.

Success Seeker and consulting are not mutually exclusive. Success Seeker is also a (special) form of consulting.

Your advantages over traditional consulting are that you:

  • can start immediately
  • think more for yourself
  • can involve all employees more easily
  • be more efficient
  • the success of independent
  • remains more independent
  • Saves costs

However, the Success Seeker system also has its limits, of course. Good advice can provide very good support here, including during implementation.

It is recommended to take advantage of any advice following a Success Trail. You start at a much higher level, can choose your advice better and don’t pay for things you already know.

Going it alone and Success Seeker are not mutually exclusive, but complement each other. After all, our aim is to promote the principle of helping people to help themselves.

Advantages over going it alone are that you:

  • Saves time for complex planning
  • easier to take all employees with you
  • is guaranteed to be very systematic
  • Avoid tripping hazards more safely
  • be more efficient
  • receives many new impulses and inspirations for success

We are convinced that with Success Seeker you will significantly improve your cost-benefit ratio.

External training and Success Seeker are not mutually exclusive, but complement each other. Success Seeker is also a form of external training.

The advantages over traditional external training are that you:

  • give all employees a chance to participate
  • promotes the team culture in the company
  • focus on “success” and not on “CAS points” or a certificate
  • all learning always relates to your own company
  • all knowledge transferred directly to the company
  • can exchange confidential information with each other

However, the Success Seeker system also has its limits, of course. We recommend that you take advantage of any external training following a Success Trail. You start at a much higher level, can choose your training better and don’t pay for things you already know.

Success Seeker takes effective corporate development to a whole new level thanks to digital transformation.

The system takes care of all the time-consuming processes of planning, initiation, documentation, structuring, pre-prioritization and evaluation. You can get started right away and contribute to success anytime, anywhere.

The structure of the Success Trail ensures that you don’t forget anything essential and always stay on track. You avoid wasting time and resources on unprepared meetings and participants.

Through the integration of all know-how carriers and the independent discussion, everyone takes a seat in the “driver’s seat”. If you drive yourself instead of just being a passive passenger, you make completely different progress in your development. Management decisions become more comprehensible and are better supported.

You bring about success yourself – and not because of third parties. By using simple language, avoiding method battles and anglicisms, and having a consistent “common thread” throughout, you will all be able to repeat the process naturally at a higher level at any time.

All in all, this is at least 10 times faster, 80% more efficient and three times more sustainable than conventional methods.

As crazy as it may sound. We believe that our system makes systematic corporate development much more human

People who are introverted, for example, have little professional experience, are not “external”, do not have a management function, etc., are often heard far too rarely. And this despite the fact that they (can and want to) contribute a great deal to success. Success Seeker, on the other hand, allows everyone to contribute and prove themselves. Right from the start.

And even if it were possible to involve all employees in the conventional way, it would be very time-consuming and in many cases unproductive. Meetings the size of a UN General Assembly develop their own dynamic (“many cooks spoil the broth”). Success Seekers, on the other hand, challenge everyone and the result is better with more or many participants.

In our view, Success Seeker makes corporate development much more “human” than it is in reality today.

Success Trails

Success Trails are structured, digital ways to achieve success goals effectively and efficiently. Success Trails lead you to your goal step-by-step, as in a competent consulting process. It is up to the participants to decide on the specific design. As a result, the paths are very individual, because it is well known that many paths lead to success.

You should take the Success Trail that benefits you the most in your situation. Ask yourselves:

  • Which bottlenecks hinder us the most in our development?
  • What do we have major or recurring problems with?
  • What makes us sleep badly (due to work)?
  • Where are we wasting great potential?

It’s best to discuss this openly as a team. We are also happy to provide you with advice. Please use our contact form.

All Success Trails follow a common “Thread of Success” and promote uniform success values. Methods always remain in the background. For this reason, a combination of very different paths is extremely intuitive. Once you have completed one Success Trail, you will find the next one even easier. Some routes also build on each other.

Success Trails can be mastered very well with common sense and knowledge of your organization alone.

To be successful, the participants need to:

  • Genuine interest in the topic
  • Voluntariness and motivation to participate
  • Time and appropriate attention.

The trails challenge the participants, but they are not strenuous.

Success Seeker “democratizes” the entrepreneurial orientation of organizations through the active participation of employees. The management in the role of coach (here: tour guide) determines how extensively this should happen.

Every Success Trail has a tour guide for this purpose. It is up to the tour guide to determine, among other things:

  • Who should participate in the Success Trail
  • how quickly the milestones of the performance targets are to be achieved
  • what is to be achieved with the jointly developed findings

As a rule, the buyer is also the tour guide. However, the team can change this.

The tour guide often also determines the success goal or Success Trail. However, a tour guide will only be able to lead the team to the goal of success if the goal is attractive and the way there is motivating.

Purchase

We offer high quality, substance and safety that also costs something. The effort behind the digital solution is considerable. At the same time, we want every SME to be able to afford a path to success. We therefore try to create bundles of benefits that are as attractive as possible.

The cost savings compared to the alternatives of “doing it alone” or “hiring a consultant right from the start” are at least 80% – if you really calculate the costs.

A path to success does not cost more than 250 CHF per participant, although we have minimum sizes for the teams. We sell packages that also include an introduction etc.

We currently offer paths to success either upon direct request or through partners. We will then arrange everything for you.

There is a fully functional online shop, but it is currently deactivated. We will activate this when it makes sense.

If you request directly or through a partner, you will receive a classic invoice.

In the (previously deactivated) online shop, common credit cards and PayPal can be used  as payment methods in addition to bank transfers .

We prefer payment by bank transfer. If there is proof of the transfer, for example as a screenshot, we will activate the successful path very quickly.

Additional participant places can be purchased at any time . Compared to buying straight away, you lose out on the possibility of volume discounts.

Technology

Success Seeker works best on a computer (PC, laptop). The system can therefore also be used on a tablet or smartphone with restrictions (“responsive design“). Since Success Seeker is a web application, you need a browser and the Internet.

If you know how to use an Internet browser, you will get along well. No special knowledge is required. The system saves progress automatically.

The system is basically designed very intuitively. There are also always optional operating instructions in the Success Trail.

Account

After logging in, each Success Seeker receives a personal area, the so-called Success Center. All elements essential for success can be accessed from the Success Center, including the Success Trails you have purchased, your personal diary and your own successes.

Important documents such as orders and invoices as well as data settings can be found in the “Admin” menu under “My success”.

The tour guide of a success team has their own team management tool under “My success”. There he/she can invite new participants or remove them.

The option “Forgot password” is displayed when logging in. If you choose this option, you will be asked to enter the e-mail address you used to register. You will receive an email with your new password after entering it. You can change this at any time under “My account”.

Data

By its very nature, the system stores personal data, in particular from the course of the Success Trail, from your contributions and from the interactive exercises (“gamification”).

The data is processed directly on a highly scalable AWS environment and stored there. We do not use any external survey tools from Microsoft or Google. The data is stored in Switzerland.

In the case of mathematical statistical data, e.g. when setting priorities, no one in the team can see who voted how (anonymously). For team contributions, everyone in the team is shown who has written what (personalized). The contributions are a means to an end and should ultimately make the discussion easier for you.

The system is designed to process as much data as possible on its own system. One exception is AI services, which are not personalized.

Very professional and comprehensive data security systems are implemented with our AWS system.

Finally, we attach great importance to ensuring that only data from users that is used for inspirational purposes enters the system. The actual implementation of measures is carried out by customers outside the system.
