Mid-2022 – Erfolgsucher transforms the SME Digital Roadmap (WIBS)

“It used to be said that small and medium-sized organizations (SMEs) were lagging behind when it came to digitalization. AirBnB, Uber and WhatsApp were cited as prime examples. Names such as Nokia and Kodak were often cited as negative examples.

Today, it is said that SMEs are lagging behind when it comes to artificial intelligence (AI). Start-ups such as OpenAI are often used as positive examples, behind which the large Internet companies position themselves. In fact, technological development is simply incredibly fast. What’s hot today will be yesterday’s news tomorrow. So how do you keep track and keep up with the pace?

One option is to use the SME Digital Roadmap (WIBS), which constantly keeps its finger on the pulse. The SME Digital Roadmap is a programme that supports organizations in driving forward their digital transformation in a self-determined manner. The program is constantly evolving in line with technological progress and the zeitgeist. While physical workshops with company management still played the main role in 2017, the focus today is on involving all those with expertise who are empowered and inspired by AI.

WIBS members and Bernese SMEs should contact WIBS directly if they are interested.

Good old days! The SME Digital Roadmap was still available as a paper flyer in 2017. The workshops with SMEs were still physical. That was great and personal, but also excluded small companies that couldn’t handle the effort.

Today, digitization itself is digitally AI-transformed

Today, the SME Digital Roadmap consists entirely of digitally transformed Success Paths. It consists of 5 paths that build on each other logically and should be tackled as a team.

Benefits for customers:

  • Digital transformation is becoming affordable for everyone.
  • The transformation requires less time and resources.
  • All the hard work is done by the system. There is much more time for creativity.
  • All know-how carriers can be integrated without paralyzing operations.
  • This makes the SME Digital Roadmap attractive for even the smallest organizations.
  • Participants no longer talk about the benefits of digitalization and AI – they experience them.
  • Experts are available to answer difficult questions – e.g. from AWS.
