Communicate everything the contractor needs to understand, take on and complete the task. Encourage the contractor to ask questions if something is not clear.
Order
What does the assignment include: content, scope/scope, quality, deadlines, costs? What is important to the client? Fulfillment criterion: How will it be possible to recognize that the order has been fulfilled?
Context
What is the purpose of the task? What is this task related to? Who is to be informed? Who does the contractor need information from?
Free vs. fixed
Where is the contractor free to make decisions? What is specified by the client (framework conditions, limits)?
Resources
What resources, rights and assistance may the contractor use?
Responsibility
Who takes responsibility for the results, actions and compliance with the framework conditions?
