Autumn 2023 – The Business Association of Bernese SMEs supports the SME Digital Roadmap (WIBS)
The digitally transformed version of the SME Digital Roadmap (WIBS), which was previously marketed primarily in the Biel-Seeland region, will now also be available at the Bernese SMEs broadly anchored. In addition, the cooperation with digitalswitzerland is being expanded.
One of the first customers is Fischer Electric AG, which has been named Bernese SME of the year 2023 was awarded. We are also delighted that Lars Guggisberg, Director of Bernese SMEs and National Councillor for the Canton of Bern, is using the SME Digital Roadmap for the association himself and providing the Erfolgsucher team with valuable feedback for improvement.
Members of the Biel-Seeland Chamber of Commerce and KMU Bern enjoy special conditions at Erfolgsucher. If you are interested, please contact the WIBS.
Below is the article on the partnership: Biel-Seeland Chamber of Commerce, Bernese SMEs and digitalswitzerland.
Digitization does not stop at SMEs. The potential is seen in smaller organizations in particular, but is not exploited to the full extent due to limited resources. In this situation, being involved in a location initiative such as digitalswitzerland is often perceived as not being compatible with size and there is a lack of access. However, the successful cooperation between the Biel-Seeland Chamber of Commerce and digitalswitzerland has now shown that these fears of contact are unfounded.
The most impressive result of the joint work of the two organizations is the SME Digital Roadmap. A tool that leads interested SMEs through a structured process from the initial situation to a realistic, forward-looking approach to the digital future. The positive experience with this paved the way for the partnership with Berner KMU that has now begun.
Nothing less than this success story is to be continued here, with the intensification of digitalswitzerland’s work in the greater Bern area: Small and medium-sized enterprises will now also have valuable access to digitalswitzerland’s information and activities via Berner KMU, their usual point of contact for a wide range of questions on challenges for tradespeople.
The most prominent example is the aforementioned SME Digital Roadmap, which is now also available to members of Berner KMU thanks to this alliance. The added value of this partnership is of immediate benefit to everyone involved. “We can now offer our members more support on the challenging journey of their SMEs towards a digitally shaped, prosperous future,” says Lars Guggisberg, Director of Berner KMU and National Councillor for the Canton of Bern.
Marcel Dobler, Vice President of digitalswitzerland, adds: “digitalswitzerland is an initiative for the digitalization of the whole of Switzerland and I am very pleased that we can support SMEs in the Bern region with this partnership.” Source (digitalswitzerland)
